B2C Senior Sales Manager

What we're looking for

  • A proven record of strong sales performance and improving sales pipeline.
  • Understanding post-secondary education target audience (context and motives).
  • Utilizing customer context in sales flow, e.g. via SPIN framework.
  • Experience with sales team management.
  • Experience in B2C with $4k+ pricing and long decision cycle, preferably edtech (bootcamps and post-secondary coding schools).

What you'll do

  • Audit and improve the current sales pipeline in close collaboration with the Practicum team.
  • Take a hands-on approach by performing B2C sales with a 2-6 week deal cycle.
  • Build knowledge of our customer base through hands-on sales work, then use that knowledge to create a highly successful sales pipeline.
  • Educate and develop the Practicum sales team (two people) to grow the sales pipeline.
  • Explain reasons people buy/don't buy to product teams.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality to the marketing team and work out recommendations to leads in direct sales funnel that can convert in 2-4 weeks.
  • Undertake experiments together with the Practicum team to overcome sales barriers and discover which aspects are crucial for successfully capturing our target audience.
  • Collaborate with the Practicum team on funnel and acquisition experiments to deliver a coherent direct sales component of growth strategy over the next three months.
